North Tour
From Invergordon, we will take the road known locally as the Struie, over mountain moorland to Bonar Bridge. Stopping at viewpoints known as Millionaire’s View, from these viewpoints you can see stunning scenery up to 30 miles away. These may be the most memorable views of your visit to the Scottish Highlands.
Then we continue our journey to the Falls of Shin to experience the majestic salmon leaping up the waterfall to their spawning ground.
Next we travel through Lairg enroute to Dunrobin Castle. This stunning castle is the residence of the Countess of Sutherland, and you will be able to enjoy her magnificent home, stroll through the beautiful gardens and watch an amazing falconry display. These displays usually take place around 11.30am and 2.00pm.
Now heading back towards Invergordon we will stop at Loch Fleet nature reserve and hopefully see the seals bathing on the sandbanks. We will then pass through the town of Dornoch, famous for the cathedral and championship links golf course.
Final stop the Glenmorangie Distillery, where you can learn about the whisky making process and of course enjoy a dram.
